The herring website was initiated and is currently maintained by members of the Institut für Seefischerei, Bundesforschungsanstalt für Fischerei in Hamburg, Germany. It is open to all scientists and managers interested in herring, and contributions are very welcome. The following list contains those persons who contributed so far (in alphabetical order):
